Our Church was getting paid monthly. This month we switched to Semi-monthly. The only problem I came across is there was NO federal taxes held out of anyone's checks. I never had an issue before. Can someone tell me how to change the payday frequency in Power church? Is it the one where it says Maintain Pay Groups? If so, it won't let me change, but will let me do a new one? Help please?

I assume you are using version 11.5. If so, there are two things you need to do.

First, go to Accounting/Payroll/Setup/Maintain Pay Groups. Then click on the Locate button to see the Pay Groups that are set up. See if there is one that has a pay period of semi-monthly. If so, note the description for step 2. If not, click the Add button to add a new Pay Group with a pay period of semi-monthly.

Second, go to Accounting/Payroll/Maintain List of Employees. Click on the Payroll Information tab. Then, click on the drop down arrow for the Pay Group field. Select the semi-monthly pay group found or created in step 1. Then, save the record. You will need to do this for each employee.
