Printint the calendar on 11x17 size paper

Post by LSCC »

Hello,

We just went to power church online and it seems as though we lost the capability to print the calendar on 11x17 paper. The drop down, to select paper size, doesn't even have 11x17 as a option. I did try picking "A3" but that only printed on a 8.5x11 sheet of paper. Interestingly enough, what it did print is the same scale for 11x17? Any suggestion?

Try using the "Preview PDF" option instead of sending it directly to your printer. This will open the PDF document directly, where you can then print with the full Print Options screen you are used to seeing.

I found the "Preview PDF", but the calendar is getting cut off at the bottom. Do you know what paper should be selected from the power church drop down since it does not have 11x17 there? That's the only thing i can think of that would cause it to be cut off at the bottom with 11x17 picked from the Preview PDF and in landscape? Thanks for your help!

When you choose Preview PDF and then click the Properties button and click Advanced. Leave the Graphic > Print Quality set to 600 DPI, or at least don't increase it above 2400. Really, 600 DPI is overkill for this. That is what is causing the bottom to be cut off.

In the Paper Size dropdown, choose Ledger, which is 17x11. Click OK. In the Orientation field, choose Landscape, since you want it to print 11x17. Click OK twice and the PDF will be created.

Thank you that worked. Two quick additional items. Did the font change? Looks smaller. And can you think of any reasons why my whole month of March 2014 is blank? Everything is there from now until Feb 2014, nothing in Mar 2014 and then picks back up in Apr 2014. With events that should go through those months.
Thanks!

The fonts haven't changed. Regarding your March events, are you able to see them on the calendar at all, or is the problem only on the printed calendar? You may need to call in to tech support about that one.

Thanks, can you send me Tech Supports number? March is back-before PC was showing just a month with no events (online). But, now when I go to put an event in; a meeting that meets the 2nd Tues of every month for 2014, PC is adding the meeting to every Tues of every month? I even deleted it and then went back and double checked again that I had all the checks in the right boxes.
Appreciate ya!

We are available at (800) 486-1800 from 9AM to 6PM Eastern, Monday through Friday.

Regarding the recurring event, you should have the following set in the Occurrences section selected:

Monthly / The second Tuesday of every 1 month
