changing church address

our church recently moved into a new building in a nearby town.. can I just go in and change the address to the new one and if so, how to it correctly so we don't encounter problems later.. thanks church secretary

Basically, yes. You can go in an change the address to the new one. However, if you have not yet updated your address with all the tax authorities, you may want to do that first.
In addition, you should also pass on that address to Powerchurch Software so they can update their records.

Log on to the Powerchurch main page, then go to MY ACCOUNT. Click on the CONNECTIONS tab, it should show the church Serial Number, the name of the church, and the old church address.
Click on the link that says
Send Address Change Notification and fill in the old & new address in the message block as requested.
