church management and tax conference

Can anyone recommend a reputable church management and tax conference for people working in the church. Learn about IRS regulations, taxes, do's & don'ts etc. I know they normally rotate around different cities.

I don't have a specific list and have not personally attended these, but here are some I would consider based on the reputation of the presenters or organizers.

Batts Morrison Wales & Lee National Nonprofit Conference http://www.nonprofitcpa.com/national-no ... onference/

National Association of Church Business Administrators (NACBA) http://www.nacba.net/2014/Pages/default.aspx

Also people to look for is Frank or Elaine Sommerville and Richard Hammer. Both have very good reputations.

The ECFA (Evangelical Council for Fiscal Accountability) has webinars on accounting topics.

If you are part of a denomination, your denomination may have resources available to you as well.

Be careful choosing which conference to attend. There are some seminars/conferences that hype up a lot of fear and then sell you their services to protect you. Personally I am leery of those types of conferences.
