I have been using the 'Control V' paste for years, but suddenly it seems to cause the whole computer to lock up when I try to paste text into a new invoice. I am usually fine pasting in the upper portion, but when it comes down to the line description it seems to bug out. I've done the simple things like restarting the computer, and I had my system do a full back up as well...just in case.
The screen fills with what looks like tiny windows for entering in new transactions, all overlapped and skewed. Once this happens I can't do anything but a hard boot. (not even a ctrl+alt+del will work).
This started up just about a week ago, I don't know if it's due to the patch, or even possibly a bad video card. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the same thing.
Thank you,
Kathleen

Frankly, I've not seen anyone else report this issue, and there are still a lot of users that are using WinXP. I'll see about getting a Powerchurch tech to this thread.CACFla wrote:Power Church 11.55

Re: Using Ctrl+V paste causes computer lock-up
My guess would be either a RAM or video card issue. Really just a guess, though.
I can't think of anything programmatically that could make your computer do that from using the Windows clipboard.

Thank you, that was my first thought as well. I think that the video card may be on it's way out. It could be that I let my fingers get a bit ahead of things, and did a ctrl+v+down arrow trying to move to the next slot.
In any case, at least I know that it's just on my machine. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.
