When trying to login to PowerChurch ver 9.0, on a Windows XP machine, I am getting the following message:

PROGRAM: FRM_PCLOGIN.VALIDATE
LINE: 29
ERROR: 111
Message: Cannot update the cursor PCUSERS, since it is read-only.

Then when I click the OK button, PowerChurch shuts down. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

FWIW .. it sounds like the directory PC+ was loaded in was not shared properly, or you're setup on a stand alone computer as a limited user. The error is saying that the system cannot update the file.

If this is on a standalone machine, you may want to notify the system admin, that they need to read the following article: http://www.powerchurch.com/support/answ ... icle_id=41

If you're on a network, the sharing was not setup as directed in this article:

http://www.powerchurch.com/support/answ ... icle_id=33

Hope this helps.

As usual, Neil comes through with the right answer. One thing I can add though: that "Mapping a Network Drive" article is supplemental to the information on page 4 of the PowerChurch manual (Network installation).
