Installing PC on a new computer

Post by RGWalk »

I just installed PowerChurch on my new desktop. All of my data for this program is on a flash drive, which I would now like to put into the program. However, when I insert the drive, I can't find how to make it import all the info into the PowerChurch program.

If the data that you have on the flash drive is a backup made in PowerChurch (PCBACKUP...ZIP with the date and time coded into the filename) then you can restore that by going to Utilities > Backup & Restore. Choose Restore Files and follow the onscreen prompts.

If instead it is a copy of the files from the old computer, then you would copy them from the flash drive and paste them into the PowerChurch directory on the new computer. This copy and paste process is detailed in the article linked below.
