Good afternoon,
Is Powerchurch doing any type of apps, as well as communications for text messaging or emails (push notifications) for members?

You can currently email directly from Powerchurch using the 'send email to a group' funtion under Membership -> Personal Profiles. You would need to create an activity and add people to it, but this works quite well.
It will also interface with Constant Contact directly, and other such messaging services using export files. You can check the User Guide for full details
