I have the PowerChurch installed onto a laptop computer and when I need to print any created report I simply email it to my desktop. I can then print the pdf file from there. I have been doing it this way for about 8 months with no problem. Just recently I have encountered problems spuratically where some emailed pdf file cannot be opened. I get a error message as the pdf file is starting to load saying the file is corrupt. I can save the files without any problem as well as open them for viewing. The problem arrised when I email them and the recipient tries to open them. Any suggestions? I use windows xp with outlook express. Todd

Todd,
Have you upgraded the Acrobat Reader on the PC you use to open the emails? Is it a newer version than the one you run on the PC with PC+? I've run into some similar problems trying to open PDF files created by other (non-Adobe) applications, where older versions of Acrobat Reader could open exported PDF files fine but after upgrading to Reader 7 we experienced similar file corrupt errors. Perhaps that is what is happening with your PC+ files?

I have run into several situations where, despite having several versions of Adobe reader on the computer, I could not open reports written in PDF format. The solution was to download the Adobe reader from the site that had the reports.

I don't have any of the details, but a support person reported that they had an instance of a anti-virus program corrupting PDFs as it scanned the e-mail messages while sending it to the server. I have not done any research to confirm this though.
