Tracking Safe Sanctuaries Training
Greetings! Has anyone figured out a good way to track Safe Sanctuaries (Child Abuse) training? We'd like to indicate in each profile IF and WHEN they completed the training. And then run reports that will tell use if they need a refresher training. I've played around with EVENTS but haven't gotten that to work well.

If these people are required to have this training because of the activities they volunteer at (Sunday School, preschool, nursery), versions 11.55 and up have a method of turning on the 'background checks' display on the individual personal profiles.CalvaryStuartsDraft wrote: ↑Fri Mar 25, 2022 2:06 pmGreetings! If you go to the Maintain Activities and Skills function under the Membership -> Activities & Skills menu, the GENERAL tab has a checkbox that says Adults in this activity require a background check. If the person is setup in the activity (doesn't matter what the role is) that background checks box appears on their personal profile, and two standard reports can be used to pull data against that information. For this to work, you need to have a good birth date listed, and the Personal Profiles Setup under Preferences is set to determine what age should be used to determine adulthood.
On the personal profile you would just click ADD next to the 'Background Checks' label, and a date and who added the date will appear. You can adjust the date to reflect the date the training (or background check) was performed.
Of course, I'm assuming that your state does not require a background check. If it does, and the refresher course is also the date of a refreshed background check, then this should work for you.
However, some states require refreshers more often than background checks; or you just want a simple date display. If so, you can use one of the open date files on the Personal Profile, then use the Selected Profiles report under Personal Profiles to pull reports based on the date range you wish.
Sorry for the long winded discussion, but there are a few options as you can see.
