New to Power church
I am new to power church and would like to know how where to we put the date the new member joined our church? and where can we indicate that they are a new member once i enter them in the database

In the preferences menu item under File, you can define up to 10 codes with any field tag you like for Personal Profiles. You can also do this for the Family Mailing List where you have 3 user-defined options. Once you set up the ones you want, you can create the valid entries for each code.
To set up the definitions, go to File>Preferences>Personal Profile Profiles Setup (or "Family Mailing List Setup") and select the tab that says "Codes" and define the codes.
Once you have done this, you can go to the respective menu selections under Membership and click on "Maintain Custom Codes" to create the list the valid entries for each code.
Once this is all set up, you can filter your reports using these fields.
