PC 9 or 10?

Post by fbc1 »

I was a beta tester for PC+10 and since this program has been locked and put up for sale, my version 9 opens with "There has been a new version loaded...PC10..." I thought I had uninstalled everything at the conclusion of the testing. Why is my program choosing to frustrate me at this point>

Martha,

1. did you use the Add/Remove Programs to delete all the version 10 installation? There are two separate things that need to be removed.
2. did you delete all the directories from the Beta ?? The uninstall routine does not delete the full directory tree as it leaves the data folder intact.

Hope this helps.

Neil -

I had removed both the beta program and the data but again checked to be sure. I found that there was the original installation application on the computer, so I removed that too. I have checked other areas that I thought might have something and did a couple of Search routines, but found nothing else---but the notice is still popping up. I'll keep searching. There must be something I have missedf!
