I hope I'm not buggin' you folks too muchwith all my questions lately.
I've just got PC+ networked and running. We have 2 pastors PC's up and running and they are able to access PC+. My problem is this: each time they launch PCPlus10 they get a dialog box complaining that "The publisher could not be verified, are you sure you want to run the program?" It's an Unknown Publisher, and it gives us an option to Run it or Cancel. It also says that "This file does not have a valid digital signature that verifies it's publisher".
After clicking Run, the program works just fine from then on.
Has anyone else run into this? Can you tell me what I have to do to eliminate this? Thanks.

I have the same problem and I was told it has something to do with Internet Explorer version 7. I was not given any solution for it so I assume it is something we have to live with. Good old Microsoft.

Yep .. its one of those IE7 'Security Updates'. Good news is that you can remove IE7 if you want to through Add/Remove Programs.

We've actually got a less drastic solution in our knowledge base:

http://www.powerchurch.com/support/answ ... icle_id=63

There's a setting you can change to allow an exe on a LAN to run.

When did that get put there ??? ;)

So basically you're adding the server as one of the 'safe' sites'. Why couldn't MS just put in code to recognize computers on the local LAN based on thei computer's and the local gateway/DNS server's IP addresses ... sheesh !!

I am glad this question was asked, I was tired of that "Do you want to run this" screen all the time. I asked about this during the beta testing. And it worked, that was the best part! :D
