We have updated to version 10 and love the feature that lists Birthdates and Anniversaries in a welcome screen.

I can't seem to show the birthdates and anniversaries in any other option than one month. I have selected several different options (the default 7 days, 6 days, 1 day, etc.) but even after saving it, or exiting out of the program and coming back in, it still shows one month of birthdays and anniversaries.

I'm able to recreate this here, so I've written it up for us to fix. Sorry about that, but thanks for reporting it. Hopefully, we can get that out in the next maintenance release.
