Once a post has been read I've clicked "mark topic as read". A screen comes up telling me all topics have been marked as read but I don't see any indication of it. Is there a symbol change or change in font color?

When a topic is new, a yellow paper icon will appear by the forum and topic on each of their screens. Once you've viewed the topic, or clicked the "mark topics as read" link, it'll change the yellow paper to white. It's kind of a subtle change, so you might miss it. To see the differences between icons, look at the bottom of the topics page, and they are compared there.

I've noticed that sometimes, new posts don't show up with the yellow icon like I'd expect them to. That might have something to do with the fact that I'm constantly logged in to the board, so I don't know.
