I am running windows xp and powerchurch 9
my question is .... I need to export data into excel to transfer to another database for the library.
My problem is that I need for each person to have a single identifier so that when i go to do updates for the library it will update each person individually. Thank you, Nancy

Internally, the program uses a combination of two fields for the unique identifier for each person. In the export field list, choose "Mail_No", which is an internal family number and "Directory Sequence", which is the person number within the family.
There will be no two people that have the same combination of these two fields.
Excel will allow you to use a formula to concatenate these two fields together into one if you need them to be identified in a single field.
