Mail Merge

I'm using PC+10 with current MR installed. When I create a mail merge to MS word 03, using unposted contributions as the data source, the salutation field shows up in the data source section of word mail merge blank even though data is entered in that field in PC. It seems that in the process of the merge the salutation field data is not pulling over into word. Any suggestions? Thanks

There is actually a bit of logic processing behind the scenes... If you have one person assigned the envelope number, it inserts the Personal Profile salutation into the data source. If multiple people have the same envelope number assigned, it pulls from the Family Mailing List salutation field.

If you are getting blanks in the data source, I would guess that the Family Mailing List records don't have salutations entered.

I have only one person per envelope and I entered the salutation in the family mailing field only. I'll go to each family and enter the salutation in the personal profile, create another merge and let you know the results
