Contribution Statement report does not balance

I printed Contribution Statements showing the full details, by contribution and showing a Fund Summary and Pledge Summary. The problem is that for one of the reports the Pledge Summary "Actual" is $800 and the Fund Summary is $700. They should be equal. The detailed listing at the top of the page shows individual contributions that total $700 (seven of $100 each). (The Pledge Summary should show $700)

It was necessary to make some adjustments to the database for this envelope number because some of the contributions had been made to the wrong fund. I had to delete the incorrect entry and reenter in the correct fund. When I did this I checked to be sure it added to zero so I knew I didn't miss anything.
Any ideas where I can look for the cause of this mismatch?

From what I can infer, some incorrect contributions may have been applied to the fund for which the pledge was made. Is this correct ?? I am fairly sure that the system would correct this when you corrected the entry.

However, had some of the pledge been contributed before the start of your contribution statement? For instance, if some of the money toward this pledge was given before Jan 1st, and the statement was created for Jan 1st to the present, your contribution amount would only show what was given this year, but your pledge fulfilled amount would include the amount given prior.
