Problem with installation

Post by lostinwindows »

I am trying to install V10.4 onto a SAN drive. We would then run the network install on each PC to allow users to access the program. When I try to do this we don't get all of the files onto the drive. For example PCPLUS10.exe doesn't exist. Our V9 works fine from the SAN What do I need to know to install onto the SAN. The SAN is just drives, there is no CPU or separate memory. :?

If you have a drive mapped to the SAN, you can just run the install from one of the workstations to that mapped drive. Alternately, you can install on a workstation, then copy the entire PowerChurch directory over to the SAN, share it, map a drive on each workstation, then run the netsetup through the mapped drive on each workstation.

Nothing has changed with the network setup procedure from version 9 to 10, so if 9 works, so should 10.
