Downloading from PC+ Ver. 8 to Pocket Power Church on PDA

I have tried to sync my Power Church Plus version 8 data to Pocket Power Church on my Sony Clie PDA and have not been successful. Any tips or setup instructions would be helpful.

The installation procedure is fairly simple.

• You install Pocket PowerChurch Sync on your computer.
• Then, when you run it, you'll select your data, and if it's the first time you're running it, you'll be given the opportunity to install the program on your handheld at the end of the selection process (the button says "Install Pocket PowerChurch on Handheld").
• You'll need to start a hotsync session on your PDA at this point. You should then get a confirmation message that the install was successful.
• After that, you can click "Download Data to Handheld" to transfer the data.
• You'll have to start your hotsync session again at that point.

Have you checked the connection and communication between the PDA and your computer? Do you have any trouble with any other PDA software?

Hi,
When i attempted to download the PowerChurch data to my palm for the first time it started to put all of my Palm addresses INTO the computer at the church. I do not want the data from my palm pilot on the computer at the church that is shared with others ---- I ONLY want to put the data on Power Church into my palm. Is there a way to do that?

You don't have to worry about the Palm data importing into PowerChurch Plus through Pocket PowerChurch. It is a one way street. Following the instructions above will get you up and running.
