We have Power Church version 10.4 with Windows xp. I am having problems with powerchurch freezing up on me while posting contributions/accounts payable. I keep getting this error message: "Windows - delayed write failed. Windows was unable to save all the data for the file. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection."

Our IP person has been here numerous times and cannot find a cause for the failure. PowerChurch indicates that it is either a computer or network problem. We do not have this issue with any other software.

Has anyone ever had this problem and what did you do to correct it? I'm desperate. PowerChurch froze up on me 5 times while posting on Monday.

FWIW ... the reason you may not have this problem with other software is that while those programs write to a local drive, Powerchurch's database is probably on another computer, so the program has to save the data through the network.

Not knowing how your network is setup makes it harder to give you any suggestions. Could you explain how you have Powerchurch installed at your location ?
