I have version 9 and have had a problem when releasing restricted funds. Example: Equity Acct 3201-012, Income Acct 4201-012, Release Acct 4801-012, Released Acct 4998-012. When I release restricted money, the Released Account comes up as 4998-001 UNKNOWN RELEASE. I looked this account number up and it is an inactive account we don't use. This happens on all my restricted accounts. I can manually correct it, but would like to fix it if I can. Thanks for any help.

It sounds like the 4998-001 account is your released from restrictions account. You should only have one released from restrictions. By default it is account 4999-000. To change this account, go to File->Preferences->Accounting Setup.
