If any one has a treasurer in their Finace Office. Could tell what their duties are and how many days a week are they in the office?
We are in need of restructing due to illness.

Our current treasurer position is a volunteer position, the person filling the post must be voted in by our Session. Her duties are to keep the books and pay salaries and bills. She is part of the stewardship and finance committee, and has a major role in the budget process.

We are looking at making this position a paid, part-time position. Either by creating a position in-house, or hiring a bookeeping firm.
