Having trouble emailing the congregation

I tried 4 times today to send a short email to all those with an email address on file in order to test the addresses we have. I go through Profiles, Send to Group, etc. It gets 34% of the way through (must be the first 50 addresses), waits 5 minutes, and the the ISP server disconnects me. I spent a long time with their tech help but problem continues. Even Outlook cannot send after I get the error from our ISP. Any ideas from anyone?
It's been raining hard here today and we've had troubles in the past during rain. Must get our dial-up phone lines wet or something.

1. Does anyone have an idea what's going on?
2. I don't like re-sending the first 50 over and over but I cannot find an option to restart at a certain name. There's no report given, either, as to how far I've gone so far, nor a restart point option. Am I missing it?
Need your wisdom. :(

You may need to check with your email provider or your ISP if they host your email. We had a similar problem here and found out we had maxed out the number of emails we are allowed to send each day.

Good point. I did check with them and they say 50 is the limit but I still had problems. The way to set the limit is in File/preferences/user setting tab/limits.

Version 10.4 will actually send e-mails in a different way from prior versions of PowerChurch Plus... We send a few then disconnect and reconnect to send the next few. This has helped get past most e-mail servers' send at one time limits. Try removing the "send no more than 50 in X minutes" setting and see if it works any better.
