Since we have upgraded to Power Church 10 we have been experincing intermitttent workstation lockups which then affects all users on the network that are currently connected to Power Church and will not allow others to log in during the lockup. The only way that I have been able to resolve the issue is by rebooting the server. In a production environment this is not something that I want to be doing during peak office hours.
Is this a known issue or do you have any advice as to how I can frame the problem? I'm guessing that it's probably database related but I don't know where to start debugging.
Is there configuration specification that I need to look into? We are running Microsoft Small Business Server 2003 and all client workstation are Windows XP. Netsetup.exe was use to setup each of the client workstations.
Any advice would be appreciated.

This is actually not a Powerchurch Online issue, as Powerchurch Online is accessed through a web browser.
That said, how do you have the workstations setup to use Powerchurch ?? Are they using mapped drives ??

Mapped drives. Power Church was installed on the workstations using netsetup.

What are the permissions on the Powerchurch directory ?? PowerChurch Plus requires that network users have full control of the files.

The install directory is sahred with Full Control granted to Domain Users.
Today I actually got an error message from one of the client workstations:
The hour glass gets stuck for about a min. or two
Then, an ERROR Message comes up with the following:
PROGRAM: opentables
LINE: 8
ERROR: 108
MESSAGE: File is in use by another user.
After I click to close that window PC then closes down entirely.
Then no one on the network can access Power Church.
