Multiple Roles in same activity/skill

I have an activity/skill code for Building & Grounds. People that serve on this team oftern have more then one role or skill ie. plumber, carpenter, lawn mower, gardener etc. Do I have to have a different skill number for each one of these skills. I am just setting up this part of PC and for some reason just dont seem to get it. I would love to hear from anyone using this module and hear how it works for you. Peace.

We do have different activity numbers for this:

IE: we have a set of numbers blocked off for B&G:

So: 500 - main B&G header number (all 500 series are B&G)
510 - Landscaping
511 - Gardener
512 - Lawn Mowing
520 - Stuctural
521 - Plumber
522 - Electrician

and so on

I just assign the activities to each person according to how they filled out their 'Time and Talent' worksheet listing their possible volunteer areas and talents.
