Problems with Budget box mailing labels

I'm in Contribs, Print mailing labels/selected contributors/Custom label settings. I then choose 20 labels per page.
The labels print fine but the printing is too high on the label. So, I go into File, preferences/mailing label setup. And knowing a bit of Custom Reports, I move all the lines down a little bit.
I then re-run the labels, but there is NO effect, they are still too high.
Can anyone tell me how to move the printing down a bit?
We are using an HP Laserjet 2010 (I believe).

If all the labels are printing equally too high, try adjusting the top margin (page header) height.

If you make changes and they don't seem to take effect, make sure that the label format you are printing is "Custom Label" rather than 20 label sheets. You aren't making changes to the standard label, they are being saved in the "Custom Label" format.

Thanks Zorak. Did you mean to change the header in the File/Prefs/Mailing label setup/custom labels/Edit layout? Yes that works. Like you say, this only works for Custom labels, however, how do I tweek the heigth of the 20, & 30 label option? They print too high and those 'custom' adjustments don't effect 20/30's.

The custom label is your tweaked version of the 20 or 30 label sheets.

Please be patient. I apologize but I'm still confused. I did an extesive run of label options today. I printed custom 20, custom 30, 20 lable sheets, and 30 label sheets. 3 issues here.
1. It would be nice, when selecting Custom Labels, lets say in Pers profiles, that it would show you which one is the current setting (as was done in file/pref/mail lab setup/custom label. I nor the secretary don't know if the Cust Label setting is for 20, 0r 30 labels persheet.
2. I was able to adjust the custom 20 label positions so that they don't print too high on the label. But, if I switch to custom 30 labels, the top margin is lost and I have to edit the top margin again. Am I in left field??
3. Also, no matter what I've tried, the 20 and 30 label sheets print too high on the label. I've found no where to adjust it. Shouldn't I ever use these two options. It's much clearer to the secretaries to either pick the 20 or 30 label option than choosing custom labels and wondering what is going to print (20 or 30 per sheet).
