Unable to write to PCUINFO

I have PowerChurch Plus 10 installed on a READYNAS DUO network drive at my church. I often work at home and backup certain data files from my MyBook World network drive to a flash drive and restore them to the ReadyNAS drive. I discovered early on that some of the files caused problems when trying to restore to the ReadyNAS.
I have no problem with the PC from which the NAS is loaded All other client PCs on the network trying to access the data for some reason can not write to files like PCUINFO and MAINFO. I have replaced the shares on the server, reloaded all PCS and started with a clean database but get the same result on the client PCs (can not write to PCUINFO). Would appreciate any clue you can give to resolving this issue. We are approaching a critical point in trying to deploy the software.
By the way, I have several PCs on my home network and have experience no problem except not being able to install updates. I also can not install updates on the church NAS (can not write to pcplus10.exe).
