We are using version 8.5, with a networked access including operating systems W98, Millenieum and XP. Recently we have lost some information in the payroll system, specifically the social security numbers, and the start date of all employees reset to January 9, 2004.

Any ideas or similar occurances?

That's a really odd problem. You might want to contact tech support to provide some more information on this.
