adding fields to mailing list

We are trying a new mailing program, "postagesaver.com" and it is asking us to add new fields to our mailing list. How do we do that? it is a dbase file

You do know that you can have Powerchurch create the labels, put on barcodes, and postal sort from within the program ?? For a small fee, Powerchurch can even CASS certify your mailing list.
