Email using MS Exchange

I came across this thread which is super helpful, I was able to run the test in the email preferences and it passed. But when I go to send a contribution statement it says Your message wasn't delivered because your client settings need to be updated to Microsoft Exchange. Any suggestions?

Quick question, how are you connected to MS Exchange? Are you running a local Exchange server, or using a ISP based system? What I remember posting back in 2008, was that we created a special Email user at the server that was setup to be a POP3/SMTP user, which bypassed the Exchange IMAP settings.

Not sure if that's still a viable method. Perhaps this Knowledgebase Article could help:
