Does it support double byte character for foreign language?
I am using the software for a Chinese Church in USA, and we like to enter Chinese characters for our member name. I try to copy & paste, but it show question marks ??? instead of Chinese characters.

I don't believe that the system was programmed to allow for double byte characters.sxchan wrote:I am using the software for a Chinese Church in USA, and we like to enter Chinese characters for our member name. I try to copy & paste, but it show question marks ??? instead of Chinese characters.

Re: Does it support double byte character for foreign language?
This is really strange! An older version that we were using did support double byte character. In our case, it was Chinese characters. However, once we (upgraded) to the current version. All the Chinese characters we entered previously become symbols . I am not quite sure if it is an upgrade or downgrade...
Could your software development team check what has been done in the (newer) version that does not support the foreign character any more? It will definitely make life much easier for us.
Thank you for your diligence in this matter.

Roberta
