exporting data from power church to outlook
My new computer is using Outlook 2007--came bundled in Microsoft office 2007. I am using PC 10.4 used to be I could export data to outlook. Now it won't allow. Message comes up stating 'Power Church unable to communicate with Outlook' Is there a fix for this problem.
Re: exporting data from power church to outlook
When you update outlook contacts in PowerChurch, the process will begin and then pause while Outlook asks if you want to allow PowerChurch access. If I say No to that I get an error that states, "Unable to communicate with Outlook. No data transferred." Is that the message you get, and have you selected "Yes" when Outlook asked?
Re: exporting data from power church to outlook
I don't see that error using PCPlus v11 and Outlook 2010 on a Win7 box. On my other machine (WinXP), I was able to update using PCPlus 10.4 and Outlook 2003.
In both cases, I did not have Outlook running at the time. On the Outlook 2003 computer, I did get the message that a program was trying to access my Outlook contacts/address book and do I want to allow that. Clicking on YES allowed it to proceed.
