Testing

Post by Kevin Sawatzky »

Is there anyway I can test-run something in PC without actually using my current setup? I want to test to see how donor restrictions work, but I don't want to set this up in my current PC application and potentially mess with my real-world data.

Thanks.

Do you know, am I able to import the data from our version 11 of Powerchurch into the demo so I can test somethings on our data?

The backup & restore functionality is disabled in the demo.

If you want full program functionality with your own data, just install the full software on your computer. If you already have it installed, run the installer again and this time, specify a different directory to install into.

If you rename the shortcut on your desktop before installing, you will then have two, one for the normal church install and one for your testing environment.
