Missing mscomctl.ocx

Hello,

I'm running PCPlus 10.4 networked to a Win7 64 bit laptop. The main installation is on a WinXP machine we're using as a file server on a peer-to-peer network. We've never had any problems with PowerChurch until now.

When I attempt to enter contributions, a dialog box opens to search for mscomctl.ocx, which can't be found on the local machine or the "server". So, I cancel that dailog and get an error message:

OLE error code 0x80040154. Class not registered. OLE object being ignored. Record number 42.

If I cancel it, nothing much happens. If I click OK, PowerChurch shuts down.

Help! :)

It sounds like one or more system files have become unregistered on the Win 7 computer.

From the Windows 7 machine, you should have mapped a drive to the PowerChurch folder on the XP. On the Windows 7 machine go to Computer, double click on the drive letter for PowerChurch. Now you should see the pcplus10 folder. Double click on that and run netsetup10. This should fix the problem.
