Email update

When sending a report to an email address I just started receiving this note: "PCPlus needs to install updated runtime files. Computer administrator rights are required. Click ok to continue or cancel to exit without installing." I click ok and then "allow" and choose who to email to and then it gives me the following note: "updating email components. This is a one time process." It lets me send the email but then the next time I go to send an email report I have to go through the whole process again. Is there something I need to do? My computer has the administrator rights.

If this is PowerChurch version 10, a file did not get distributed with the last Maintenance Release. There is one last planed MR for version 10 which this file will be included. To get past this before that MR download
pc10email.exe and place it in the Install folder (default: c:\powerchurch\pcplus10\install\pc10email.exe).

Tracy,
Is this the 01/09/12 MR that you are talking about? The information listed for that update in the MR forum does not mention correcting group email issues.

It may not, but if Tracy says it in there, its part of the MR. He's the Lead Programmer on the system.

We had the same issue. Updated to the 1/9/12 MR, authorized the PC10email.exe install one time, and this time it "took"--didn't prompt again on the next email.

I did the MR that Tracy suggested on 1/7/12 and it corrected my problem. Thanks for all your input.
