Accessing Previous Versions of PC+

My finance pastor would like to access the previous year's data. We are currently running v9 with the most recent mr. I do not know how far back chronologically our v9 data set goes.

Q: How do I go about allowing her to access last year's data that is in v8.5 and the data prior to that?

Q: Do I need to install v8.5 locally for her?

Q: Will this interfere with v9.0 on the network?

Q: What about going back prior to v8.5?

Is this Radio Shack?!

To see prior year detail not included in v9, you would need to install the approritate old version, and restore the backup. Keep in mind that you can only restore a backup to the same version in which it was made.

You can install the old version(s) locally if you like.

It will not interfere with the current version shared on the network - unless you actually install into the same directory, and you'd have to be really trying to do that.

I've had numerous installations of different versions on my computer at any given time. I think currently, I have somewhere in the neighborhood of 10 or so. That's because I recently cleaned house - I did have upwards of 30. They're all self-contained, so you shouldn't have a problem. The biggest issue is keeping your desktop icons straight.
