Power Church Today

Post by MTZDetroit »

PC 11.1 user for about 5 years. We use Power Church Today under the Account tab window to display the Default Checking Balance.

Recently, we noticed that the balance does not automatically refresh any longer. The total will refresh manually. It is not critical but a little annoying. All accounts and contributions have been posted and closed, I am not sure if there is something we are doing wrong.

Anyone else getting this?

The PowerChurch Today window only updates itself once a day or something like that, so that it isn't hitting all of those different data files running multiple queries every time you open it.

Thank you for the post.

What is strange is that in the past once all accounts had been posted and closed the next day when logging in the checking balance was accurate when logging in for the first time.

Now, a manual refresh is required all the time whether logging for the first time or during the in order for the balance for be accurate.

Michael .. how is the program setup at your site, networked, stand-alone?? If networked, are you logging in from a client computer, or on the 'server' machine??

Neil,

Thanks for the inquiry.

We are set up on a network with PC11 running on Win Server 2008 R2.

My user is logging in from a client.

Thanks for the input.
