Access problem from networked PC

I have a PC that I installed the network client for accessing Powerchurch 11.5. During the install process, the computer gave an error that it was low on virtual memory and the process did not complete. It got to 97% then hung. I ended up rebooting the PC and did the install again. This time it completed. However, when I access PowerChurch the program puts up a banner screen in Microsoft Virtual FoxPro trying to find the executable file on the server. I can manual browse the folder and see the PowerChurch executable. When I select this and continue, PowerChurch start properly although there is an message that says that the version on the local PC does not match the one on the server.
I have deinstalled and reinstalled several times but it does the same thing. I also rebooted the server, remapped the drive but still get the same results.
Any sugggestions? Thanks.

Ok ... just to be sure, you're running the NETSETUP115.EXE program from the
mapped Powerchurch PCPLUS115
install directory, right ?? Have you updated to the latest Maintenance Release of 11.5 on the server, just to eliminate any issues there?
How much physical memory is on the client PC ??

Also forgot to ask, what version of Windows are you running on the client?

I don't know how much physical memory the PC has but will check. The client PC is running XP with Service Pack 2.
I tried reinstalling the NETSETUP115.EXE program by right clicking the icon and using run as which was suggested by PowerChurch tech support but this did not help.
I looked in the registry and see a mapping of a variable to the pcplus115.exe file but it looks like on startup the local program is not getting this mapping.
I am beginning to think that somehow the local program does not have the proper priviledges even though it was installed using the ADMIN account. I checked and this account has full priviledges but I am beginning to think that the program itself does not have the priviledges. I am going to check the file and also use taskmanager to see what the service is running as when it starts.

You have to make sure that when you SHARE the drive off the machine that acts as the server, that it was setup with FULL privileges to all users.
The Powerchurch manual does list all the steps to network properly, or you can check using this knowledgebase article:

Yes, I have checked the sharing and priviledges on the server side PowerChurch 11.5 folders and compared them against the priviledges for the version 11 folders. They are the same.
I have seven other PCs that are networked to this server and they all connect and run the 11.5 version properly. They are all also Windows XP with the same service pack 2. All of the computers are Dell and all about the same vintage of hardware.
It is just this one that is giving me problems and it is only with this version. I didn't delete the path to the 11.1 version and it is still working fine.
I am pretty certain that the problem is local to the PC and not on the server. I just don't know what it is yet.
I was given the suggestion to turn off virus protection and reinstall which I will do. I am also going to compare the folders but contents and priviledges on this PC to a working one and see whether I can find any differences.

This problem is resolved. PowerChurch technical support had be download a newer version of the netsetup program which reinstalled the software on the local PC.
After doing this, on startup the program re-extracted the files for the local PC and everything works.
What I saw was different was that even after removing the local program via the Control Panel and reinstalling, the extraction of files was not reoccurring. So something was wrong with the local files that are extracted.
All is well now.
