Has any V9 users lost their ability to go to a locate screen and the names are no longer alphabetized? Initially they were but after I turned my computer off they are now jumbled, and typing a last name does nothing.

First I've heard of it. However, in this version you can click on the header at the top of the column and have it sort by that column.aj wrote:Has any V9 users lost their ability to go to a locate screen and the names are no longer alphabetized? Two things to do:
1. Reindex ..
2. Try clicking on the header !!

The locate screens create a temporary cursor and index this according to which header has been clicked. Also, there is a default order. Occasionally PC+ may have a problem with creating the index due to system speeds. These system speeds can be a result of a fragmented harddrive, temp folder having 1000's of files in it, anti-virus holding a file open longer than expected, and various other things.
Scandisk and defragment the hard drive. If it's possible, disable the anti-virus from scanning DBF, FPT and CDX files.
