Email Set Up Error

Hi, I am just now setting up the email on PC+ v.11.5
Under system setup options, email tab... I have set everything there to match the email account in outlook. We have windows 8. we use Inmotion Hosting as our server.
The email address, display name, outgoing email server are all set exactly the same as in the outlook email. I have checked the 'outgoing email server requires authentication' and put in the username and password to match the outlook. It is SSL in outlook so I checked the SSL option in PC.
When I do a test, this is what I get: OLE IDispatch exception code 0 from CSMail.SMTPClient.1: An SMTP or winsock error occured.; No extended error information is available..
would appreciate any help!
