Moving Powerchurch from a laptop to a desktop Computer.
I installed PowerChurch on my laptop to configure it for our church. I now want to install it in our church computer. How can I bypass the initial set-ups on the church computer and do a restore from the file that I made from my laptop?

The easiest way to do this is not bypass the setup:Alaraujo wrote:I installed PowerChurch on my laptop to configure it for our church. I now want to install it in our church computer. 1. Do the backup of the database currently on the Laptop.
2. Install Powerchurch on the Desktop Computer. Start the program and say that you are doing a NEW install, not upgrading. It will ask you for the church information. The only thing you REALLY need to enter (other than dummy info) is the registration number.
3. The program will create the database tables, then restart.
4. Restore the backup you took on the laptop.
5. You're done .
