Version 12 - 04/07/2020 Maintenance Release

Post by Zorak »

A new Maintenance Release dated 04/07/2020 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 12.

The program will automatically download and install this update by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release, or you can manually download and install the Maintenance Release installer by visiting http://www.powerchurch.com/mr in your web browser.

PowerChurch Online servers will be updated automatically overnight. For PowerChurch Online users, no further action needs to be taken.

This Maintenance Release addresses the following issues/features:

Email
  • Gmail/G Suite accounts require OAUTH token and API to send emails (Removes the "allow less secure apps" requirement)
Contributions
  • Intermittent "SET MULTILOCKS ON" error when posting contributions
  • Contributions entered on the Modify Unposted Contributions screen don't have an entry time
Payroll
  • Amounts in new W4 fields don't show on edit pay items during Process Payroll

When trying to install this MR for PC 12.2 stand alone version a message stating "Power Church Plus needs to install updated runtime files. Computer Administrator rights are required. Click ok to continue or cancel to exit without installing." I clicked ok but do no know if I have computer administrator rights. Were the updated runtime files installed? How can I tell?

You wouldn't have been able to install the MR if you didn't have admin rights, so your clicking on the OK, did the job.
