A new Maintenance Release dated 04/13/2020 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 12.
The program will automatically download and install this update by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release, or you can manually download and install the Maintenance Release installer by visiting http://www.powerchurch.com/mr in your web browser.
PowerChurch Online servers will be updated automatically overnight. For PowerChurch Online users, no further action needs to be taken.
This Maintenance Release addresses the following issues:
Events
Error when syncing more than one new calendar to Google Calendar
Setup menu is missing entry for Events Setup Options
Since I installed this MR, I can't send a report via email. I sent a report via email from an instance of PC+ that didn't have the newest MR and it worked fine. Then I installed the newest MR and it won't send. It has a dialog box called Authorization Request. I have never seen this before.

This is a new requirement to send email via Gmail/G Suite accounts. You have to authorize third party apps like PowerChurch to be able to send email via that email account. Google is ending the ability to allow "less secure apps" to access the email account starting in June, so we're just a little ahead of the curve.
If you're getting the authorization screen, but the program doesn't connect to Google, check to make sure your firewall is not blocking the program from connecting to Google. its a possibility since this is not a normal connection.
