A new Maintenance Release dated 09/23/2024 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 14.
The update will automatically download and install, but you can trigger the download by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release. You can also manually download and install the Maintenance Release by visiting https://www.powerchurch.com/mr.
PowerChurch Online servers will be updated automatically overnight. For PowerChurch Online users, no further action needs to be taken.
This Maintenance Release includes the following:
Membership
MapQuest mapping doesn't work properly
Profile Age Range report includes those with "Include in Membership Module Reports" unchecked
Contributions
Errors can occur when manually assigning an account to a Contribution Fund
Payroll
941 and W2 may exclude transactions converted forward from versions prior to 11
W2 process should allow a different year even if that is not the current supported form year
Preview of Paycheck Items report run from the Process Payroll screen doesn't scroll
We found a new error that was introduced in this Maintenance Release and have issued a new one. From within the software, you can trigger the check for a new release by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release, or if you aren't able to log in, you can manually download and install the update from our website at https://www.powerchurch.com/mr.
I downloaded the Version 14 and now when I open the software it crashes after I try to do anything. I opened Member profiles to update and after I clicked on a members name to enter info I get an error. Error 14.2024.2671

OK ... I trust you mean you downloaded and installed the latest Maintenance Release, dated 9/23/2024?
As you may or may not know, Asheville NC has been hit with the worst flooding in over a century, and the Powerchurch offices are out of power, and closed. Try those steps first, and then come back here and let us know what happened. We'll try to get you running if that doesn't work.
That is the error my earlier post was talking about. We issued a new Maintenance Release the same day to fix it. PowerChurch automatically checks for updates once a week, so it should have offered to download and install the new one automatically on Monday. If you aren't getting that notification for whatever reason, downloading and installing the update from our website at https://www.powerchurch.com/mr will get it fixed.
