A new Maintenance Release dated 03/21/2016 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 11.

The program will automatically download and install this update by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release, or you can manually download and install the Maintenance Release installer by visiting http://www.powerchurch.com/mr in your web browser.

This release fixes the following issues:

Family Mailing List & Personal Profiles

• All Families Alphabetical report has extra spacing in between families
• Church Directory does not properly sort by "last name, first name" when using preferred name
• Onebody Sync should not allow multiple sync processes to be requested at the same time

Contributions

• Funds Report by Date includes funds with zero balance because of reversals
• Pledge to Actual Comparison does not properly calculate prepaid pledges
• Contribution Statements page numbers 2+ are cut off
• Contribution Statements by e-mail not properly validating e-mail addresses
• Year End Pledge Processing does not record the Added By and Added Date fields

Fund Accounting

• Widen Reference/Check No field on Check Register by Fund report
• Repeated Line Descriptions are not properly displayed on Unposted Transactions report
• Graphs do not disply properly for accounts in multiple funds

Accounts Payable

• Improved error handling
• 3rd decimal place is not saved in HST setup

Accounts Receivable

• Allow posting process to clear zero balance invoices with no payment applied

Payroll

• 941 Form updated for 2016
• 941 Report menu item changed to 941 Quarterly Tax Return
• 941 Tax Deposit Report menu item added under Tax Reporting
• CT state tax table - Recapture tab needs 40 brackets
• CT state tax table - Wittholding tab needs 7 brackets
• Modify employee last name on W2 does not change alphabetical order of saved form info

Events

• Google Sync process may crash if user does not have permissions to write log file
• Aggressive antivirus scanning can cause data problems when adding new events

We have PC Online version and the 3/21 maintenance release has not automatically updated. Trying to get out our 941 forms so hope that it has updated by tomorrow - need that tax year changed to 2016!

This release is for version 11.1, not v11.55.

The 11.55 version should be released soon, and PCPlus Online will be updated overnight. That said, you can always download the PDF form from the IRS from here: https://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f941.pdf , and use the data created by PCPlus to fill in the blanks and print.

There really is not rush here unless it is self imposed since the 941 report for the first quarter of 2016 is not due until the end of April.
