Version 11.5 - 8/14/2017 Maintenance Release

A new Maintenance Release dated 08/14/2017 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 11.5.

The program will automatically download and install this update by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release, or you can manually download and install the Maintenance Release installer by visiting http://www.powerchurch.com/mr in your web browser.

PowerChurch Online servers will updated automatically overnight, so PowerChurch Online users need not take any action to receive this update.

This Maintenance Release resolves the following issues:

Personal Profiles
  • Profile Notes field is not available to query in custom reports
Attendance
  • The Visitor Report combines data if family names are exactly the same
Contributions
  • Negative fund numbers should not be allowed
Fund Accounting
  • Import Accounting Transactions - Reference is truncated to 10 characters
  • Delete Account validation shows incorrect message when account has a beginning balance
Accounts Payable
  • Quick Add Vendor created with invalid Priority value
General
  • Encrypted data fields (passwords, etc.) are limited to 36 characters
  • E-mail validation - require something in between @ and .
  • Replace some older controls in the program
  • Fixed some alignment/onscreen display issues on large font DPI screens

Below is a VirusTotal scan result of the Maintenance Release installer:

This service scans a file with 61 different antivirus engines, 0 of which found a threat, including AVG. You may try updating your virus definitions in AVG.

I installed this without a problem with AVG this morning after AVG updated its definitions. What I have done in the past, because I'm usually installing from a client computer over the network, is turn off AVG virus checking on my client computer as it slows down the installation over the wireless network. In the meantime the Server is being updated, and AVG there is not being triggered as its setup to always update definitions at 6am in the morning.
