Version 8 Maintenance Release Notes

Post by Zaphod »

Maintenance Release dated 12/27/2005
ISSUES CORRECTED IN THIS MAINTENANCE RELEASE Here are some of the issues that have been corrected with this Maintenance Release.

The Projected Pledge Payments report would give information for all contribution funds, even when you specified a specific fund or fund range when you ran the report.

The Selected Paid Items report in Accounts Payable would not include all the appropriate records when you specified a range of references. For example, if you indicated that you wanted references 01 through 03 (which should give 01, 02 and 03), you would only get the records with references of 01 and 02.

The "date acquired" and "date last updated" dates were not available as fields to choose from when creating a Custom Report from within the Education Library.

If you used the mass change feature under Activities and Skills and entered the same number in both the from and to fields, the program would delete all the attenders assigned to the activity.

Ministry Services files were not getting backed up in a Membership backup.

Under certain circumstances, a "file is in use" error message would come up when trying to run the Selected Visitations report.

It was possible to go to the File menu and choose Exit when a report was being previewed on the screen. Doing so would generate several error messages before the program would close.

When running Account Statements in Accounts Receivable and choosing the option to include accounts with zero balances and no activity, those accounts were not being included.

Under certain circumstances, the customer's name and address were getting dropped from Account Statements printed from Accounts Receivable.

Recent changes enacted by the Canada Revenue Agency require a specific message to appear on all contribution receipts. It has always been possible to include text that would print on each receipt, but this information is now included automatically at the bottom of each receipt so it doesn't have to be added as a message.

Several typographical and spelling errors were discovered and corrected.
