A new Maintenance Release dated 12/21/2021 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 12.

The program will automatically download and install this update by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release, or you can manually download and install the Maintenance Release installer by visiting https://www.powerchurch.com/mr in your web browser.

PowerChurch Online servers will be updated automatically overnight. For PowerChurch Online users, no further action needs to be taken.

This Maintenance Release includes the following:

Contributions

• Import Contributions from Vanco - Process should only be opened once
• Import Contributions - If only one contribution is imported and is a problem, is highlighted in blue instead of red
• Custom Reports - Missing account number fields from Contribution Funds

Fund Accounting

• Chart of Accounts Fund Comparison report - Make columns wider
• View Posted Transactions - Error when sorted by month
• View Posted Transactions - When sorting by date entered is not correct date sort
• Balance Sheet by Fund report includes inactive funds
• Unposted Contributions - Fund # column is not exported correctly to Excel

Accounts Payable

• 1099 forms and e-file process updated for 2021
• Strip unsupported characters from 1099 e-file submission
• Maintain Vendor Records - Balance field can overflow and round the amount
• Custom Reports missing multiple fields
• Select Invoices to Pay - Sorting by Due Date is not in proper date order
• Quick Check - Unable to add sales tax when adding a new vendor

Payroll

• W2/W3 forms and e-file process updated for 2021
• Strip unsupported characters from W2 e-file submission
• Wisconsin tax table calculation redesigned for 2021
• Time Off Schedule report doesn't sort properly with certain settings

General

• Email - Remove the "Send as a test and log results (don't deliver)" option
• Ministry Services reports combine family members with same name

I noticed that the 1099's have been updated to 3 per page rather than 2. Are we able to print the 1099-NEC on plain paper now or do they need to still be on the IRS forms? Thank you!

The IRS changed the 2021 1099-NEC to a 3-up form, they can not be printed on plain paper. The forms are available from the Powerchurch partner Dynamic Systems, and other vendors such as Amazon.
