A new Maintenance Release dated 12/28/2022 has been released for PowerChurch Plus Version 14.

The program will automatically download and install this update by going to Help > Download Maintenance Release, or you can manually download and install the Maintenance Release installer by visiting https://www.powerchurch.com/mr in your web browser.

PowerChurch Online servers will be updated automatically overnight. For PowerChurch Online users, no further action needs to be taken.

This Maintenance Release includes the following:

Fund Accounting

• Income & Expense Statement - When run at Summary/Detail level 3, subtotals may not match the account balances shown

Accounts Payable

• 1099 forms and e-file process updated for tax year 2022

Payroll

• W2 forms and e-file process updated for tax year 2022
• W2 uses first address found for duplicate employees (with same Social Security Number) Should use the one with the latest transactions
• Count of employees on 941 form and calculation report does not ignore duplicate employees (with same Social Security Number)
• Maintain Item Descriptions - Change "Retirement deduction" tax option to "Retirement deduction (non-Roth)"
• Maintain Item Descriptions - Box 12 codes AA and BB for ROTH IRAs shouldn't show up in the list when "Retirement deduction (non-Roth)" is selected. They are not pre-tax.
• Payroll Setup Assistant - Errors can occur when adding certain state tax tables.
